Group Therapy
Caring Group Counsellor
I can work with you to tailor a group therapy program or a specified number of sessions to address specific issues. This can be for a range of topics including workplace wellness such as self-care; conflict resolution and understanding others; or to respond to a specific need.
For example, I have worked with organisational groups for incident response after a workplace accident, suicide, or sensitive client complaint. I’ve also worked with teams to upskill front-line staff on assertive communication skills and setting boundaries with difficult clients. I can use a mediation style of counselling to work with people in a dispute or unhealthy workplace dynamic. Whilst this is not a legal process, sometimes an objective third party to help resolve issues can greatly assist.
Sometimes I may form a group from existing clients that have a particular concern that could benefit from working with others e.g social anxiety or living with singleness. I am also happy to be approached if you know a group of people who could benefit from group facilitation to make counselling cost more affordable if offered in a group format.
Contact me to outline what you are seeking and hope to achieve.
- Group counselling can be tailored for a particular issue e.g. grief and loss OR for an organisation group for a specific concern e.g. Incident response after suicide or workplace accident/ conflict management/Assertive communication etc. Contact me with an outline of your needs.
- Group counselling fee depends on the scope of therapy and the number of members. Please contact me to discuss your needs and budget.

Client Feedback
I appreciate that Sara always gives me the option to direct the topic of a session, as well as assistance to prioritise day-to-day functioning whilst still working towards long-term healing, growth and wholeness. Sara has the wisdom and insight to ask the tough questions when needed, but also the care and compassion to do it gently or know when to re-visit later rather than pursue a matter at that time.
Sara's scheduling and appointments show a kind but professional approach to be available when needed, not expect regular ongoing sessions, but potentially making time if a crisis unexpectedly arises. I also have appreciated Sara's flexibility of session delivery either in person, skype or by phone. As a working mother, this has meant I can assess support even when I can't physically make an appointment. Lastly, ordinarily I am quite a driven, motivated person, however in recent times I've struggled to find how that can work with the current state of my body and mind...
Sara has helped guide me to a new way forward that still allows that part of my personality, but in a kinder, more sustainable way, ultimately leading to a better life for me and my loved ones.
